Set Your Mind On Things Above, Colossians 3:1-2 and Beyond!

Set Your Mind on Things Above, Colossians 3:1-2 and Beyond!

Shalom!

When I first read this, I sobbed; it went straight to my soul. I encourage you to read the whole book of Colossians; it will speak to your spirit and soul. It is powerful!!! The word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword Hebrews 4:12; it will cut through the deceit in this crooked world. You know the truth when the Spirit convicts you and redirects you to God's narrow path; many are called, but few are chosen, and few find it (Matthew 22:14; Matthew 7:13-14). Don't harden your hearts when God convicts you; he loves you, and he wants to redirect you back to him. Before you read Holy Scripture, pray to the Lord to open your eyes of the soul and the hearing of the soul, giving you understanding, wisdom & discernment of his word. God is omniscient and omnipresent, and he will harken to your requests in prayer, faith, truth and in love.

And the word of the Holy Scriptures in Colossians says: If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. Because of these things the wrath of God is coming upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves once walked when you lived in them.

But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him, where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised nor uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave nor free, but Christ is all and in all.'

We love you, Lord Almighty; all the glory and praise are for you alone. It's the constant renewing of the mind and the change of heart. Blessed be the name of the Living God forever and ever ~ Amen!

Help us in our walk with Christ Jesus; it's about carrying the cross daily, daily forgiveness & daily repentance of our daily shortcomings.

May the Love of Christ Be With You!

Do not be discouraged (Joshua 1:9), for God is with us through the good times and the bad. Many stories in the Bible begin poorly but end according to God's purpose. Glory to the Most High Heavenly Father...

My blog is new, but little by little, I will post beautiful things about our Lord Christ Jesus, as well as things that will convict your whole being by the word of God.
